Turkey Highlights (11 Days / 10 Nights)

This is a shortened and more economical version of our popular Grand Sultan tour. It is designed to give travellers a grand tour experience in a shorter time. As the Mediterranean coast is not covered in this tour, participants have the option of doing a 3-day or a week-long Gulet cruise. In this way they can experience the best of both worlds.

On this tour you will see all the main attractions that Western Turkey offers, including Istanbul, Gallipoli, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Antalya and, of course Cappadocia. A qualified English speaking local guide will be with the group during the entire tour. Tour features include:

  • Accommodation in clean and comfortable three and four star hotels
  • Small groups of 8 to 24 people
  • Organised in association with Turkish tour operators who are Turkey Specialists
  • Visits to off the beaten track places and to villages

This tour may be combined with the Best of the Black Sea tour and Marvels of the East tour.

It was a wonderful trip thanks to your very personal tour-leadership. For us it felt like we'd been invited by a friend and his lovely wife to join a group on a trip to show us his homeland - of which he was justly proud. We were all lucky to have Olga's companionship and the excellent camaraderie of such a good group of fellow-travellers. We enjoyed the terrific variety of accommodations and, (probably a little too much) the great cuisine in the many interesting restaurants you took us to. For someone like me with a keen interest in history it was also a real treat to travel through that 'cradle of civilisation' with someone like Damla who so expertly provided the historical narrative.
